Welcome to the homepage of Right Care, Right Place, a programme which aims to reshape health services in east Berkshire in line with local needs.
It is about bringing health services closer to home, ensuring the right service is available in the right place at the right time.
The process began with a major public consultation exercise which heard from over 4,000 people in 2007/08. It was run by NHS Berkshire East, the organisation responsible for healthcare in east Berkshire. The original Consultation Document and Final Report can be viewed here.
We listened to you - now we are making changes in line with your priorities. Significant developments have already taken place - and more are on the way. We continue to work closely with our three local councils, our patient representatives, GPs and other key people to develop these plans.
